How the Games are Appointed? - Branch's Game Appointment Policy
All Branch game schedulers shall adhere to the following guidelines when appointing games for the Branch:
a) All game appointments shall be offered to Full Members first.
b) Members that achieve the highest points (following the Branch Point System) shall be offered game appointments. Provided that the referee's skills and experience meets or exceeds the level of difficulty for that game.
c) Schedulers shall attempt at appointing games up to two weeks in advance, and no more than four weeks.
d) The schedulers shall use the following game ratio in appointing games: one (1) middle = two (2) lines.
e) The schedulers shall immediately inform the executive those Branch Members refusing to accept lines. The Branch Member not accepting lines may be subject to have his/her name removed from the Branch List and thus game appointments.
f) All schedulers shall report immediately to the Branch Executive any referee who accepts games and then returns games for a "better" appointment (unless it is an Ontario Cup game).
g) All schedulers shall forthwith provide for inspection all game appointment sheets upon demand to the designate assigned to that league.
